This is for someone that may have trained elsewhere, or had a prior CDL and let it lapse. First test is $300, after that $250 if needed. Although we still do recommend some pre-trip training to get familiar with what you need to know, and our trucks if you are using them. If you are using your own truck then the price is $250. All tests must be scheduled 48 hours in advance and will lose $150 if cancelled under 48 hours.
Here at Apex CDL we really want you to pass the test on your first try. So we strongly advise you to at least get some pre-trip training. We make it really cheap because we so want you get some pre-trip training before your test. That’s what people seem to struggle with when they come in for just a test. We would advise you that if you want to test with us, to take at least 1 hour of behind the wheel training before your test if you are using one of our trucks to get familiar with it. It’s not mandatory to take any training but we highly recommend you do. It is cheaper than a re-test.
